Tessellate™ surface modules are self-contained, framed screens with perforated patterns that can continually shift and evolve; they create a dynamic architectural element that regulates light and solar gain, ventilation and airflow, privacy, and views.

Living glass for next-generation building façades

Adaptive Fritting™ is an integrated glass unit with a custom, moveable, graphic pattern that can modulate its transparency to control transmitted light, solar gain, views, and privacy. Graphic appliqués are available in a variety of geometric patterns and colors; and can be customized to match architectural details or imagery.

Building surfaces from nearly nothing

Strata™ consists of modular units that hide within a single slender profile when retracted and that can extend to form a nearly continuous surface. Advantages include the ability to be designed into non-rectangular shapes, match three-dimensionally curved surfaces when extended, and visually disappear into a building’s underlying structure when retracted.

Dynamically permeable surfacing

Permea™ surfaces provide panels of controlled permeability that vary smoothly between a covered state and a largely open state. In addition to regulating daylighting, solar gain and airflow, Permea™ can be used to seal off an interior environment from dust, debris and harsh weather; and for special situations can be engineered to function as a protective blast shield.
