Iris Structures Interactive

Our iris structures provide coverings that smoothly extend from and retract to a compact perimeter, combining structure, mechanism and covering. This interactive allows you to explore the possibilities of form and behavior of a complete circular iris dome.

Begin with the pull-down construction menu in the upper-right corner.

Change the shape of your dome’s profile on the left by dragging the curve handles. Adjust the complexity on the right by adjusting the number of sections and layers. Click update to save your settings.

Once your custom iris structure is complete, you can bring it to life using the animation options in the bottom toolbar.
