How We Work

Concept Development:
Working with our clients, ABI establishes a project team comprising designers as well as experts in relevant technologies. We identify opportunities for adaptive systems after analyzing the project program—its goals and constraints. ABI then presents system options: their design, function, development plan, and budget.

Detail Design + Construction Documents:
Upon approval, ABI designs and develops performance specifications for the system, and provides a full set of construction documents and specifications.

One Source:
ABI, through our partner network, represents a single-source for our adaptive systems. With extensive experience as product designers, we provide manufacturing oversight to ensure that all performance and quality standards are achieved. As part of ABI's services, we work with our network of suppliers to obtain full warranties on installed systems.

Implementation + Integration:
ABI maintains involvement through the fabrication, installation, and commissioning of our adaptive systems, providing oversight, quality assurance, and engineering support.

Product Development:
ABI continuously strives to produce solutions that are robust and practical, without sacrificing design. Our systems are often comprised of modular units that go through rigorous cycle testing, ensuring reliability in advance of installation. Once installed, if individual units need repair, they can be swapped out without impairing overall system performance.
